Sencha Japan

As the name suggests, this drink is produced not on the familiar Chinese and Indian plantations, but in Japan – the land of the rising sun, family traditions, and the hardest-working people. Perhaps these facts contributed to the creation of a special processing method for this variety. While all other tea leaves are roasted to reveal flavor and aroma, green sencha, as this type is often called, is steamed for one minute and then rolled into thin tubes. This unique processing method prevents excessive oxidation and preserves the maximum amount of beneficial substances.
